The decentralised locations of most indoor climbing centres are not ideal for introducing people to the sport of rock climbing due to their lack of access. Climbing is generally considered a niche sport, thus it is rare that an individual will go out of their way to give climbing a go. An easily accessible venue where members of the public could 'stumble across' climbing could help to showcase and introduce people to the sport and ultimately help drive up the number of people who partake in it.
